1) An email messaging environment has been created for the following within the Türkiye National Observatories (Eastern Anatolia Observatory in Erzurum and TÜBİTAK National Observatory in Antalya):
- All projects carried out, observation information, and observation calls,
- Collaborations, scientific, and academic information,
- Technical developments, telescope – optical device failure, and maintenance processes,
- Workshop – Meeting – Event information,
- Human resource (including staff, scholarships, internships) announcements,
- Scientific articles originating from the institution,
- Current developments, discoveries, and achievements in space sciences,
- Sharing of corporate publications and similar outputs.
2) Personal information and greetings, personal or organizational rivalries or conflicts, special occasion greetings, and political messages will not be shared through this messaging platform.
3) Academic, technical, and administrative staff, researchers (including undergraduates, postgraduates, and postdocs), experts, retired colleagues, graduate students, and undergraduate students who provide academic references will be able to apply for membership in all infrastructures, studies, projects, and issues that may be of interest to everyone within the National Observatories of Türkiye.
4) Emails sent by members will be shared on the messaging platform if they meet the criteria mentioned above.
5) The responsibility for the content of the sent emails lies entirely with the sender, and a simple, respectful, and professional communication language that complies with the rules of language and style must be used.
6) The necessary sensitivity and responsibility should be shown by the email owner in cases where the contents of the emails contain information that may give rise to confidentiality and copyright.
7) Membership to the Foton messaging platform will be made by personal application, and it is essential for those who wish to become members.
